Rolly's Story

Cruising the Grand Union Canal, Warwickshire May 1998

"As promised earlier in the year, (shortly after we got Rolly from you), I enclose a photo of him thoroughly enjoying himself on our narrowboat, the photo was taken a few weeks ago.

We are also thoroughly enjoying having Rolly with us, wouldn't part with him for the world, so much so that when our narrowboat is repainted this coming July his name will also appear on the side of the boat, (no doubt not many of your rescue Shih Tzu's can claim this!)

......He did disgrace himself over the May bank holiday when we were out cruising on our boat in Warwickshire.He decided the field running alongside the towpath looked more inviting especially when it contained cow dung....I probably don't have to describe the state of him when he was finally caught.

Luckily for us (and Rolly) we have a shower on the boat otherwise he would have had a long walk back to our permanent mooring!!!"
